Many of my clients tell me that they know exactly what they should do, but just can't seem to do it. Some blame a lack of motivation, others simply say there seems to be a link missing between what they intelligently comprehend - knowing what foods are sensible to eat - and their actual behaviour - seemingly unable to stop eating the wrong things.
Perhaps you overeat for a reason - to satisfy your emotional needs such as stress, boredom, anxiety? Or possibly you have long established poor eating habits? Your weight problems may well be caused by a combination of factors.
Perhaps you have been on several diets or indeed feel like you have tried them all over the years! Possibly you have Lost weight only to find that you put it back on again.
From the very first session you will learn how to identify what makes you eat inappropriately and learn techniques to deal with your triggers.
It is all about taking control, eating sensibly and upping levels of activity/exercise - I will help you to get the balance right. The word 'diet' is banished and no food banned as this just makes us feel deprived.
Weight loss will be gradual but if you follow the programme you should steadily lose weight and just as importantly maintain your reduced weight.
One word of warning, If you are looking for a magic cure that will do all the work for you then you will not be successful. It is a shame it's not that simple, but if I could claim that I'd be millionaire!! I will help you to make the transition to a healthier lifestyle, but effort on your part is required. My aim is to make the transition as easy as possible.
There is no 'one size fits all' approach and all sessions will be designed to help with your specific problem areas. During your sessions we can identify your particular issues and help you to deal with them.
An average weight management plan runs between 4 - 6 sessions, but I will discuss the likely duration of any treatment with you before booking any appointments so that you know what to expect. I believe in being totally transparent with my fees and so there will be no nasty surprises! I operate to the highest ethical standards and only ever book as many appointments as are necessary to help you with your problem.
The initial session will take approx 90 minutes and then subsequent sessions will last between 50 - 70 mins. Each session costs £75 (or £85 if it takes place after 5.30 p.m. weekdays or at any time on a Saturday).
Where appropriate, hypnotherapy sessions will be recorded and emailed to you for downloading at home where you can continue to listen to them. Sometimes pre-recorded sessions are also provided.
